South Shore Home Health Services Nominates Caregiver of the Year
South Shore Home Health Services, Inc. is proud to nominate Brunilda Taveras as our “Caregiver of the Year”. Since 2006 Brunilda has managed a non-verbal client with ease and dignity. The care she provides is meticulous. Supervisory nurses report that they are confident that Brunilda will communicate any condition change. She is a team player that knows the importance that each member plays in responding to patients needs. So today we honor you Brunilda, our “Caregiver of the Year”.

The Long Island Chapter of the New York State Association of Health Care Providers hosted its 19th annual Caregiver Awards Luncheon on November 4, 2009 at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Eileen Gerard, Vice President of the Long Island Chapter, Director of Human Resources of South Shore Home Health Services, Inc. organized the event. Thirty Eight caregivers with home care agencies in Nassau and Suffolk County were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the home health care industry on the occasion of National Home Care Month. The Guest Speaker was Judy Martin, broadcast journalist, News 12 Long island anchor/reporter and founder of WorkLifeNation.com
